Born in Barbados.  Immigrated to England aged 14

Work (England):
​

  • From age 16 worked first as a professional musician - numerous UK national tours and
    international tours to Europe, Africa and the US

     

    • A long theatre career as writer, producer and stage director: international tours to Europe, Africa and the US
       

    • Credits include acclaimed reggae stage musical “Rainbow Uprising”, featuring the music of Bob Marley and produced by leading London theatre Sadlers Wells for three seasons
       

    • Numerous writing commissions for BBC Radio Broadcasts
       

    • Writing commission for the Liverpool International Festival of Youth Theatre
       

    • Actor in an award-winning play at Edinburgh International Festival of Theater
       

    • Numerous national tours in Rep theatre
       

    •  Contributed to two national television series – “The US” for Channel 4 TV and “Wanted in Paradise” for BBC2 Television
       

  • Video editor to several music releases for the African market - ongoing Internet safety consultant and published author of several children’s books on Internet  safety – ongoing
     

Work (Barbados):
 

  • Since returning to Barbados, has contributed to the local arts scene:

    • Directing the musical “Annie” for Gentle Steps Arts Academy
       

    • Writing and directing the acclaimed drama “Last Dance” for the Barbados Alzheimer’s Association at the regional Alzheimer’s conference
       

    • Presenter and workshop facilitator at UWI arts symposium
       

    • Recent work includes the award-winning film documentary “The Fire This Time” a look at the arts of Barbados, hugely successful at the International film festivals - ongoing. Film documentary “COVID-DIARIES” on COVID-19 for the international market – ongoing
       

Contributor to Caribbean Arts:
 

  • Presentor at the Alliouagana Festival in Montserrat
     

  • Presenter and workshop facilitator at the Stages AXA Regional Drama Festival in Anguilla (two occasions)
     

Currently completing the COVID-DIARIES project to produce a film documentary on COVID-19 for the international market – ongoing
